I am trying to send the updates from Thomas' and Andrew's Alaskan adventure. So far so good- they skied until 8 pm the first day. Today there are grounded due to weather. Below is Thomas' email. Mormon skiers! who knew?

In the meantime (in case you didn't see it on instagram) here is what they have been up to while not skiing.

The scenery here is absolutely spectacular. Snow is good and the group mostly non drinking Mormons or recovering non drinkers. Some pretty funny stories involving the teenage years of a “recoverer”. Mike thinks group is extremely “tame”. Some very good skiers, but a little like Lech in that they like/need their beauty sleep to perform ‘at the highest level’. The skiing is obviously great, but there is a little bit of a rush to catch the helicopter....due to attempt to keep gas guzzling down.

Off to go “fat tire biking” now. Bad visibility has stopped play.

Btw. No running water in our cabins!!? Have to shower in main building...or use wet washcloth....
